The Anne E. Shipman Stevens Scholarship

It is an honor to serve

For the past several years, the Martha Cook Alumnae Association has assisted in evaluating the candidates for the Anne E. Shipman Stevens Scholarships. Our involvement allows the building director to share the lives of her residents without partiality or favoritism.

Interviewing the scholarship candidates is a tremendous responsibility for volunteers. The Martha Cook Alumnae Association has worked together on making our selection criteria fair, honest and transparent.

Our work is assisted by Mary Gray and Megan Schrauben. (not pictured). Technology has come to Martha Cook. This year, our scholarship committee is joined by Ann Chatterson who is joining us remotely by phone.

Yes, that is indeed tea on the table. Meetings at Martha Cook Building are always gracious and they come with something delicious from the chef.
